The Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan passed away on the 8th of October.

The news of Mr. Paswan’s death was confirmed by his son, Chirag Paswan.

Mr. Chirag took to Twitter and said, “पापा….अब आप इस दुनिया में नहीं हैं लेकिन मुझे पता है आप जहां भी हैं हमेशा मेरे साथ हैं। Miss you Papa…”

Ram Vilas Paswan who recently underwent heart surgery in a Delhi hospital, passed away while undergoing treatment.

Ram Vilas Paswan, 74, has been in active politics for more than five decades and is one of the most noted Dalit leaders in India.

Mr. hirag had last week tweeted: “For the last many days dad is getting treated in a hospital. Due to some sudden developments on Saturday evening, an operation of his heart had to be conducted in the late night. If the need arises, then possibly after a few weeks another operation might be conducted. Thanks to all for standing by me and my family in this hour of struggle.”

After the news of Ram Vilas Paswan death broke out, Twitter was flooded with condolence messages to his family.

B.P. Singh, a member of Indian National Congress (INC) said, “Deepest condolences to the family friends and followers of Union Minister Shri #RamVilasPaswan ji.

May his soul rest in peace.”

G. Kishan Reddy, the Union Home Minister of State, said, “Passing away of Shri #RamVilasPaswan ji, Union Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, is an irreparable loss to the Govt, People of Bihar & the country.

His persona & conviction to serve our people will be deeply missed.
