On the 12th of April, two people were readmitted at a Noida hospital, after being tested positive for the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 for the second time.
On the 10th of April, the two patients were discharged from the Government Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS) hospital, after being treated and testing negative for COVID-19. However, in just 24 hours, the two patients resulted positive for another test of COVID-19.
Before the discharge the hospital staff took another sample of the patients, tested them and the result was positive.
This is a matter of concern, as the patients got the Coronavirus infection again after being quarantined for 14 days and being treated for the same.
The Uttar Pradesh Medical department is investigating the two patients’ medical history and would send the report to the Central Government.
With these updates, Uttar Pradesh has a total of 483 cases of the Novel Coronavirus infection with 5 deaths till date.
