P.V. Sindhu Creates History! Wins Silver Medal In Rio Olympics 2016

Hyderabad: “I gave my heart out,” said P.V. Sindhu after elevating India’s place on the international badminton map. The Badminton star won silver medal at the Rio Olympics and made history for India. After the match, she said, “I ended up with silver medal but am really happy. I’m on Cloud Nine. It’s been a surprisingly great week. I played well, I had some great matches and now, I am Olympic silver medalist.”

“I’m really proud about it. I’m really happy. I could not win the gold. But I really worked hard. It was anybody’s game. I really fought very hard and gave my heart out. When I came to final, I told myself just one match to go and you could win a gold medal. Give it your best, and I tried very hard. I feel it was her day,” the Hyderabadi girl added.

The 21 year old said, “I also congratulate Carolina. It’s been a wonderful week for me. It’s anybody’s aim to win a medal at the Olympics.”
