Nara Chandrababu, the National President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) announced Bakkani Narasimhulu to be the new President of the Telangana TDP (TTDP.)
According to the sources, the appointment was announced on the 19th of July, Monday, after the former TTDP President quit the Party. He previously held position of the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA ) of Shad Nagar, Telangana.
B. Narasimhulu also served as the board member of the Tirumala and Tirupati Devastahanams (TTD.) He also has a good reputation in the TDP and has good relation with the TTDP leaders. Everyone in the TDP party hailed the decision of the party. Congratulations have poured in, from several ministers.
Mr Narsimhulu spoke on the occasion, he stated that, he would do his best to strengthen the TDP in Telangana and revive the TDP in Telangana.
Recently, L. Ramana, the former member of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) became a part of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) today, the 12th of July.
The former Textiles Minister and former Lok Sabha member from Karimnagar L. Ramana, to,k the TRS membership in the presence of the K.T. Rama Rao, the Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister of Telangana. In regard to this, a low key event was organised at the Telangana Bhavan, Hyderabad. Only a few TRS members and senior leaders attended the event, keeping it simple in the wake of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19.)
Mr. L. Ramana took membership of the TRS after resigning as the Telangana TDP President on the 9th of July. Later, on the 16th of July, he joined the TRS officially in the presence of K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana. Along with L. Ramana, some of his followers and TDP members also joined in the presence of the Telangana Chief Minister.
The resignation from the TDP and the joining of the TRS by L.Ramana at a time of Huzurabad by election, could be a major boost for the ruling Government.
