In breaking news, Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar, the President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Telangana, finally got bail. Principal Judicial Magistrate court in Hanamkonda district granted bail to the Karimnagar Member of Parliament (MP) in the Telangana State Public Service Commission Exam (TSPSC) Paper Leak matter.
Notably, the Telangana Police’s special investigation team (SIT) named Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar was accused in the TSPSC Paper Leak matter and arrested on the 3rd of April.
Later, on the 6th of April, he appeared in the court, following which the district Court announced 2 weeks remand to Mr. Bandi Sanjay. However, after a protest and a petition moved in the court, the district magistrate granted bail to Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar in the late hours of Thursday. He was also asked to sign a bond of Rs. 20,000 and was asked not leave the country, until investigation is underway. The next day, on the 7th of April, Friday, Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar was released from the Karimnagar Jail, where he was lodged.
After the release, Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar addressed the media and demanded the sacking of Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Information Technology and Urban Development Minister of Telangana. Furthermore, the BJP President of Telangana unit also demanded a compensation of Rs. 1 lakh compensation to youth who suffered due to leak of TSPSC group 1 papers.
Mr. K.T. Rama Rao is yet to respond to Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar’s demand.
