On the 11th of June, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) alleged the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) of being unable to handle the pandemic crisis situation due to the Novel Coronavirus.
The BJP said due to the negligence and decisions of the K. Chandrashekar Rao led TRS Government, the State is likely to head towards the community transmission.
The BJP said, in the past few days over 500 Coronavirus patients were discharged without any final test for the COVID-19 infection.
Supporting junior doctors protest outside Gandhi hospital for safety, the BJP said even the healthcare workers said patients were discharged prematurely without any tests for COVID-19.
Ramachandra Rao, a Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) of the BJP criticised the TRS for not handling the COVID-19 situation properly.
He said the TRS Government is not following the changed guidelines of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) for the COVID- 19, triggering community transmission in Telangana.
BJP also questioned the Government as to why it restricted the Coronavirus testing and case management only at Gandhi Hospital.
The opposition also questioned the rise in the cases in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) one of the containment zones for COVID-19 in the State.
The GHMC has the highest number of the Novel Coronavirus cases in the State.
