Devendra Fadnavis, the former Chief Minister of Maharashtra and a senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader is all set to release the Party Manifesto for the upcoming Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections.
The major parties contesting the GHMC elections are campaigning for their respective parties.
All the major parties, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS,) the BJP, the All India Majlis e Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) and the Indian National Congress are fighting the GHMC elections 2020.
The BJP has planned to deploy senior leaders in key positions to campaign for the elections in Hyderabad.
While Smriti Irani, the Union Minister of Women and Child Development campaigned for the BJP on the 25th of November, Mr. Fadnavis would campaign on the 26th of November.
On the 27th of November and the 28th of November, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and National BJP President J.P. Nadda would campaign in the City respectively.
Yogi Adithyanath would campaign in Chevella parliamentary divisions and J.P. Nadda would participate in a roadshow at the Malkajgiri Parliament segment.
In addition, Dr.K. Laxman announced the campaigning schedule of the Union Home Minister.
The Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Hyderabad on the 29th of November, to campaign for the BJP.
On the last day of the GHMC campaign, Amit Shah would participate in a road show in Secunderabad.
The GHMC elections are scheduled to be held on the 1st of December.
The results of the GHMC elections would be announced on the 4th of December.
