The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Members of Parliament (MPs) staged a protest, demanding an inquiry into the Hindenburg-Adani Row issue.
In the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha session, the BRS MPs reverberated with the slogans raised by the BRS members along with the Opposition members demanding a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) investigation into the Hindenburg-Adani issue.
For the sixth consecutive day on Monday, the 20th of March, both the Houses were adjourned for Tuesday without any discussion as the Centre did not yield to the Opposition’s demand.
The Opposition parties accused the government of stalling Parliament and finding ways to divert attention from their demand for a JPC probe into the Adani issue. The BRS MPs took out a rally from the Parliament building to Vijay Chowk raising slogans “Modi Down Down”, “Order for JPC probe on Adani, safeguard democratic values of India”, and “Centre’s tyranny must end” among others.
