Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, chaired a Cabinet meeting, on the 5th of February, Sunday.
During the meeting, held at Pragati Bhavan, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao approved the 2023-2024 Telangana Budget, which would be presented on the 6th of February, Monday.
According to sources, during the Cabinet meeting, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) ministers and leaders discussed the budget and other issues including the bills which would be tabled in the Budget Session.
Mr. T. Harish Rao, the Finance Minister of Telangana, would present the 2023-2024, the last Budget of the BRS Government, ahead of the State Assembly elections. The budget would be presented on Monday morning, the 6th of February. Ahead of the Budget Session, Mr. T. Harish Rao visited Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple at Jubilee Hills and offered prayers. After his temple visit, he addressed the media and said, the 2023 Budget of Telangana would fulfil the expectations of the people. He further added that the Budget would be a balance of welfare schemes and the development of Telangana. Addressing the media, Mr. T. Harish Rao also slammed the ruling Central Government for not sanctioning a single penny for Telangana.
Mr. T. Harish Rao would announce the awaited Telangana 2023 Budget shortly.
