Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, is scheduled to hold a grand Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) public meeting, on the 5th of February.

On the 30th of January, the BRS announced its first public meeting in Nanded, Maharashtra.  Initially,  Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao cancelled the grand public scheduled to be held in Nanden, on the 5th of February.  However, on the 30th of January, the BRS and Telangana Chief Minister’s Office, announced the grand meeting on the 5th of February.

During the grand public meeting, leaders from Maharashtra would be inducted into the BRS. Furthermore, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao is also expected to meet leaders of the Indian National Congress (INC) in Nanded, Maharashtra.

Many BRS leaders and Ministers reached Nanded and are campaigning for the BRS, supervising the arrangements and security organised for Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, for the grand public meeting.

Mr. Indrakaran Reddy, the Forest Minister of Telangana, along with  Mr. Ravinder Singh, the Telangana State Civil Supplies Corporation Chief and Mr. Balka Suman, the Government Whip toured Nanded town for the second day on Sunday, the 29th of January.  During the tour he monitored the arrangements being made for the success of the meeting.  They inspected the venue and barricading and other works. They also visited the famous Sachkhchand Gurudwara and performed special prayers.

It is to be noted, the recently announced national party, the BRS is making efforts to establish itself in states like Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Odisha and Delhi.  The K. Chandrashekar Rao led BRS recently held a grand public meeting in Khammam district of Telangana and is confident of winning people of other states as well, and attracting leaders to join the BRS.

Furthermore, the BRS is also looking for an alliance of non Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in different states, especially to contest the 2024 elections, against the PM Narendra Modi led Central Government.
