
Delhi: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 10:30 AM on Wednesday. He arrived in Delhi on Tuesday night following confirmation of the appointment from the Prime Minister’s Office. This marks his second meeting with Modi, the last being in July 2023.
During the meeting, Revanth Reddy is expected to provide a detailed report on the recent SLBC accident and seek central assistance for several infrastructure projects. Key topics on the agenda include the beautification of the Musi River, extending the Hyderabad Metro to Shamshabad Airport, the construction of the Regional Ring Road, and various unresolved issues under the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act.
Additionally, the Telangana CM is likely to hold discussions with several Union Ministers regarding pending projects and financial aid. Sources indicate that apart from central matters, Revanth Reddy may also engage with top Congress leaders on state-level political developments, including the upcoming MLC elections, expansion of the PCC state executive committee, and cabinet restructuring.
Before leaving for Delhi, Revanth Reddy conducted a late-night meeting with Telangana state officials to finalize his discussion points.
