On the 11th of November, a case was registered against the Member of the legislative Assembly (MLA) of the All India Majlis e Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM.)
In Telangana, the MLA of Nampally Constituency Jaffer Hussain Meraj and other workers were alleged to have attacked and abused the Indian National Congress (INC) workers.
The complaint registered against them claimed the AIMIM MLA of attacking INC workers on the 11th of November.
The complaint was filed with the State police, by Masood Ahmed, a worker of the INC and resident of Masab Tank area.
Mr. Ahmed said when they were disbursing a relief amount of Rs. 10,000 to flood affected families in the Dhobhi Ghat area, the AIMIM leader attacked them.
The incident occurred under the Humayunnagar police station limits.
The case against Jaffer Husain Miraz is filed with the Humayunnagar police station.
The case has been registered and an investigation is underway.
