On the 3rd of October, Monday, the Election Commission of India (ECI) released the schedule for the Munugode Assembly constituency by election in Telangana.
The by election for the Munugode Assembly constituency is scheduled to be held on the 3rd of November.
According to the ECI announcement, the election notification for the by election would be released on the 7th of October, the nomination for the by election would be on the 7th of October till the 14th of October. Scrutiny of the filed nomination would be on the 15th of October, withdrawal of nomination would be on the 17th of October.
The by election for the vacant post of the Munugode Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) would be held on the 3rd of November. The counting of the votes would be held on the 6th of November, following which results would be announced.
It is to be noted, after the resignation of Mr. Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy (the former Indian National Congress leader) as the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Munugode, the seat fell vacant, paving the way for a by election.
Political parties like the TRS and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are leaving no stone unturned to strengthen the party and win the Munugode Assembly by election.
