After the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Indian National Congress (INC,) now the Eknath Shinde led Shiv Sena Party is also eyeing the Telugu State of Telangana.

As per sources, Maharashtra’s Shiv Sena party is likely to go aggressive in the Telangana State, especially at a time when the State is preparing for the assembly elections.

The fact that Shiv Sena is making efforts to establish their political presence in Telangana, came after a recent meeting of Mr. Sinkaru Sivaji, the Shiv Sena President of Telangana unit,  with Mr. Eknath Shinde, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra.  During the meeting with Mr. Shinde, the Telangana Shiv Sena President discussed the party activities in Telangana.

Addressing the media, Mr. Sivaji said that Eknath Shinde has issued instructions to raise the Shiv Sena flag in Telangana and to prepare the movement activities.  Mr. Eknath Shinde also asked Mr, Sinkaru Sivaji to listen to people and try to solve the issues of the citizens of Telangana.

According to sources, the party committees are likely to be formed soon in every district of Telangana and efforts would be made to increase the number of activists.  Mr. Sinkaru Sivaji said that massive public meetings would also be held in the State.  Furthermore, the Shiv Sena unit of Telangana is also expecting to set up a party office in Telangana’s Capital city, Hyderabad soon.

Speaking of the 2023 elections, sources revealed that the Shiv Sena party led by Eknath Shinde is also ready to nominate party candidates in all the 119 assembly seats of Telangana.

Notably, the Telugu State of Telangana is set to conduct its Assembly elections at the end of 2023.  As of now, the ruling Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi (BRS,) the opposition BJP and the INC are strong parties in the fray.
