The former Health Minister and the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leader Eatala Rajender met Bandi Sanjay Kumar, the President of the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) in Telangana.
On the 13th of May, the TRS leader met Bandi Sanjay Kumar and Revanth Reddy, the Chief of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC.) After being removed as the Telangana Health Minister, Eatala Rajender scheduled several meetings with the opposition leaders. According to sources, the meeting was to discuss the future course of action after being removed from the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Cabinet.
Recently, on the 1st of May, the Telangana Health Minister Eatala Rajender was transferred from the Health Ministry portfolio. The decision was taken by K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, over the recent land grabbing allegations against the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Minister.
Mr. Rajender said that he would take a decision whether to contest again from his Huzurabad constituency or not. For this he is busy meeting with leaders of all other key parties like the congress and the BJP in Telangana. He had met the Congress Legislature Party leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka in Hyderabad.
On the 12th of May also, Eatala Rajender was busy meeting key leaders of opposition parties like the BJP and the INC.
According to sources, in the past few days, Eatala Rajender is meeting opposition leaders. On the 11th of May, he met CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka and explained as to why differences arose between him and Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao.
However, there is no announcement regarding Eatala Rajender joining any party.
