Mr. G. Kishan Reddy, the Union Minister for Tourism and Culture and State Home Minister of Telangana wrote to Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana.
The letter, dated on the 30th of June, Thursday, was regarding the land allotment for the ESI Hospital in Telangana.
According to sources, in the written letter to the Chief Minister of Telangana, Mr. K Chandrashekar Rao, the Union Minister Mr. G. Kishan Reddy urged for land allotment, demanding the construction of a 100-bedded ESI hospital in the Ramagundam area of Peddapalle district.
Mr. G. Kishan Reddy said, the Union Labour Ministry had taken up several steps for the expansion of the services of ESIC hospital by keeping in view the growing needs of workers from Telangana. He further added that the Ministry had decided to build a 100-bedded modern ESIC hospital at Ramagundam in the year 2018. Concerning the then proposal, the Central Government wrote to the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) asking for five acres of land allotment in the Industrial area. The letter was written on the 20th of September, 2018, but was not taken action.
Meanwhile, the Union Tourism and Culture Minister also said the corporation made repeated requests on the issue and urged the State Government to expedite the process of the allotment of the land. He told the Chief Minister that the State Government had not reacted on the issue so far. He also added that a recent meeting of the ministry discussed the delay in the allotment of the land by the State Government for the construction of the hospital.
In conclusion, Mr. G. Kishan Reddy asked the Telangana CM KCR to take a special interest in the issue and initiate steps for the allotment of the land.
