The Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS,) an opposition party against the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS,) is planning to extend its support to the Indian National Congress (INC) in the upcoming Huzurnagar by elections.
Muddasani Kodandaram Reddy, the President of the TJS, said he wants to “sing the death knell of the dictatorial regime of the TRS.” He said after joining hands with the INC, the TJS will fight against the TRS and win the by election.
On the 2nd of October, the Returning Officer of the Huzurnagar constituency rejected the nominations of 45 candidates.
On the other hand, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) asked the Communist Party of India [Marxist] (CPI [M]) to support it.
The Huzurnagar by election is scheduled to be held on the 21st of October and the results will be announced on the 24th of October.
