In Telangana, another gruesome incident of gang rape was reported on the 8th of February, Wednesday.
According to the Hyderabad Police, four youths gang raped and assaulted a minor girl in the Chandrayangutta region. Getting into the details, the four accused identified as confined, sedated and gang raped the 16 year old girl who lives with her family members in Chandrayanagutta. She went to buy medicines from a nearby pharmacy when a woman trapped the victim saying she would get her the medicines at a discounted rate. She took her to Kandikal Gate and handed her over to four youths, who were under the influence of psychotropic influence.
They took her to a room and forced to drink soft drinks laced with sedatives and when she was intoxicated, the youths raped her. After committing the crime they left the girl and fled the spot. The girl recovered from intoxication and reached home the next morning. The girl informed her mother about the ordeal, and based on a complaint from her parents, the Chandrayangutta police booked a case and are investigating. The identities of the youths and the woman who approached the victim is yet to be known.
Although the incident occurred on the 4th of February, it came to light days later on the 8th of February, Wednesday.
In addition, special police teams have been formed to identify the youths, the woman and nab them. Meanwhile, the girl was sent to the hospital for a medical examination.
