At Hyderabad International Airport, customs officers seized gold weighing over 1 kg, worth Rs 86 lakhs from a woman passenger.
On the 16th of June, Thursday, as per the Air Intelligence Unit’s suspicion, the customs officials of the Hyderabad International Airport, checked the woman passenger, traveling from Kuwait and seized the gold.
It is to be noted, that the gold was concealed in paste form inside the rectum, groin area, and socks of the shoe, wrapped in a black plastic covering.
The Hyderabad International Airport authority informed the police, following which a case was registered and an investigation has been launched.
