As the New Year is approaching, Anjani Kumar, the Hyderabad Police Commissioner, issued a few guidelines for New Year celebrations across the City.

On the 21st of December, Commissioner Anjani Kumar directed pubs, clubs, three star hotels and others to maintain the sound level below 45 decibels, install CCTV cameras at the entry, exit and parking.

The guidelines were issued to ensure the safety of people partying across the City on the occasion of New Year.

Mr. Kumar also said, “The event organisers should ensure the decency of apparel and dance.”

Besides, Anjani Kumar asked the pubs, clubs and three star hotels to have a time limit on drinking hours.  The aforementioned places are asked to follow the time given by the Excise Department of Telangana.

Another guideline issued by the State Police is the organisers need to ensure their guests who are in an intoxicated state reaches their destination safely.
