In Telangana’s Sangareddy district, a woman along with her an year old baby committed suicide.
On the 21st of October, Friday, the woman identified as Ambika (23) allegedly threw her one year old baby girl Nakshatra into an agricultural well before she too jumped into the well in Mogudampally Mandal headquarters. The police rushed to the spot, after being informed by locals.
As per sources, the Sanagareddy Police pulled the bodies out of the well, registered a case and launched an investigation. Moving ahead, on the 22nd of October, Saturday, the police based on the initial investigation suspected the suicide to be a result of a family dispute.
The police said, “Family disputes are suspected to have forced Ambika to resort to the extreme step.” Moreover, the bodies were taken to the Area Hospital Zaheerabad for postmortem and an investigation is underway.
