In breaking news, Journalist Naveen Kumar, popularly known as Teenmar Mallanma announced the launch of his own political party.

Mallanna, who became famous after his popular show Teenmar News, said he would form a new political party named Telangana Nirmana Party, against the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party.

It is to be noted, the announcement of the new party was made after Naveen Kumar alias Teenmar Mallanna, walked out of jail.  He was jailed for making inappropriate comments against the Telangana Chief Minister Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao and K. Kavitha, a Member of the Legislative Council  (MLC.)

In addition, Naveen Kumar was also charged and arrested for beating an on duty constable  March.  However, on the 18th of April, Mallanna and his four associates were released from jail.

Hours after his release, Teenmar Mallanna declared that he would contest from the Medchal constituency in the coming elections.  He also criticized that the BRS Government erected the statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar statue to enter Maharashtra politics but not respecting the sentiments of the citizens of Telangana.

It is to be noted, the Telangana State Assembly elections are scheduled to be held later in April 2o23.   However, the Election Commission of India is yet to announce the schedule of the elections.  In the 2023 elections, the BRS, the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Indian National Congress (INC) are the major parties in the fray to contest for power in Telangana.
