The Jubilee Hills Police, on the 23rd of October, registered a case against Revanth Reddy, the Working President of the Indian National Congress (INC) in Telangana.

According to the complaint filed against Revanth Reddy by a sub inspector of the Jubilee Hills Police Station in Hyderabad, Reddy was alleged of obstructing policemen from performing their duty.

The incident took place on the 21st of October when Revanth Reddy, along with his followers, manhandled a few policemen.  Revanth Reddy, who was under house arrest on the 21st of October, misbehaved with the policemen who were trying to stop Reddy from going to Pragati Bhavan.

The incident came to light after a video was circulated on social media platforms.  The video also showed Revanth Reddy reaching Pragati Bhavan on a motorcycle and trying to stage a protest against the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS.)

The protest was against the TRS Government for not solving the ongoing issue with the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) employees, who are on strike since the 5th of October.

The Jubilee Hills Police registered the complaint against Revanth Reddy under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and launched an investigation.
