K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, visited the Kaleshwaram Project in Telangana on the 13th of February.
The visit was organised to review the progress made in constructing the Kaleshwaram Project, including the functioning of the Project.
The Telangana CM also visited the Mukteshwara Swamy and Lakshmi barrages built on the Medigadda Barrage.
KCR visited the Kaleshwaram Project after a review meeting was conducted at the Pragathi Bhavan. Officials concerned about the construction of the Project attended this meeting.
During the review meeting, the officials also discussed the progress of the Project in terms of helping farmers in Telangana for agriculture and irrigation purposes and providing water to the citizens.
KCR visited the Kaleshwaram Project along with a few Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) officials.
