KCR To Conduct Meeting To Discuss Municipal Elections?

K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, is all set to start planning and working on strategies for the civic polls due in January 2020.

KCR would conduct a meeting on the 4th of January with the extended committee of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS.)  The meeting is likely to be in relation to the upcoming Municipal elections in Telangana.

The meeting is scheduled to be held at Telangana Bhavan, Hyderabad.  KCR, the President of the TRS, would chair the meeting and discuss the Municipal elections.  The elections for 120 municipalities and 10 municipal corporations are scheduled to be held on the 22nd of January, 2020 and the notification regarding the same would be issued on the 7th of January.

TRS officials, Members of Parliament (MPs,) Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs,) Members of the Legislative Council (MLCs,) Zila Parishad chairpersons and State executive members would attend the meeting.

All the members were asked to be at the Telangana Bhavan by 11:30 A.M., and all the leaders would be provided lunch at the venue.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 11:30 A.M., and continue till 4:00 P.M., on the 4th of January.
