K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR,) the Chief Minister of Telangana, on the 22nd of July, visited Chintamadaka.

KCR, who was on a day’s visit to Chintamadaka, his native village, conducted a special ritual at a temple, following which, he left for lunch with his friends.

Later in the day, KCR addressed a special sabha and listened to the issues of the villagers in detail. He also asked the villagers of Chintamadaka to stay united and work towards the development of the village.

Speaking about his attachment to the village, KCR shared some of his childhood memories and reminisced about his days with his friends and teachers in the village.

KCR also directed the concerned officials and T. Harish Rao, the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Siddipet, to look into the development of the village in the next few months.

According to sources, families residing in Chintamadaka will get an amount of Rs. 10 lakhs. This will benefit approximately 2,000 houses.

Apart from the Rs. 10 lakhs, Rs. 50 crores will be provided for development projects benefiting the dairy industry and poultry farming in Chintamadaka.

The new projects will also eliminate the issue of jobs in the village, giving enough opportunities for villagers to develop themselves.

The other development projects announced during today’s visit are the construction of function halls and roads, provision of drainage and drinking water facilities and other facilities.

KCR, T. Harish Rao and other officials of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) were present during the visit.
