K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, is scheduled to review the non agricultural land registrations.
The review meeting is Scheduled to be held on the 15th of November at 11:00 A.M., at Pragati Bhavan.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister would discuss the commencement of non-agricultural lands registration process.
The meeting would be attended by Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, officials of revenue and registration department.
The meeting is scheduled as the Telangana Chief Minister decided to start the registration of non agricultural lands as well through Dharani Portal.
K. Chandrashekar Rao launched the Dharini Portal for the citizens of Telangana on the 29th of October. The portal is the solution for all the issues of land resignation in the State, aiming transparency over land registration.
In the portal, one could have all the records of properties including land registration, mutation and other services.
Under the new Revenue Act, tahsildars have been given powers to register the agricultural lands and Sub-Registrars will handle the registration of non-agricultural lands and other properties.
However, now the portal would also register non agricultural land, after an official announcement.
