K.T. Rama Rao (KTR,) the Working President of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS,) said he will fulfill all the promises made to the citizens of Hyderabad.

On the 27th of August, KTR addressed a meeting organised at the Kotla Vijayabhaskar Reddy Stadium, Hyderanad. Approximately 8,000 TRS activists, Party leaders and other officials were present at the event.

During a meeting with TRS activists, workers and leaders, KTR said, “There are more things to take up in Hyderabad but there are some priorities of the government. We will fulfil all the promises made to people of Hyderabad.”

At the event, KTR praised K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR,) the Chief Minister of Telangana, and said CM KCR resolved issues of the State and always worked towards the development of people.

KTR said previously State had several issues of water crisis, but KCR resolved the issue by bringing Godavari water in the City, following which Hyderabad will never face water crisis like Chennai.

Adding the good work of the TRS Government, KTR said, “During my childhood, there used to be a curfew in Hyderabad during Ganesh festival. Now there are no conflicts showing good law and order situation.”

KTR criticised the Indian National Congress (INC) for raising their voices against the TRS baselessly. He said, “No one knows what they are doing who their national president. They are making the same allegations since the last five years. Think about your party why leaders are leaving.”

After the INC, KTR took a dig at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP,) which claim to be in power in the next elections. KTR said one who wants to be in power in Telangana should know, the State Government spent a Rs. 1200 crores on pensions whereas, the Central Government provided a sum of Rs. 200 crore.

KTR also advised TRS activists to not react over the baseless allegations of the opposition parties and take it seriously.

The meeting was scheduled to discuss the membership drive in the State and chalk down the strategy for the development of people.

The Telangana Rashtra Samithi recently, conducted the membership drive in the State and crossed a target of 60 lakh members.

Approximately 20 lakh active members will get their identity cards by the 15th of September.
