K.T. Rama Rao, the Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister and the Information Technology, Electronics and Communications Minister of Telangana, on the 30th of October, met Rajnath Singh, the Defence Minister of India.
The meeting was held at the South Block in Delhi. During the meeting, K.T. Rama Rao requested Rajnath Singh to allocate defence land for the construction of skyways in Hyderabad, Telangana.
KTR also discussed the expansion of the Hyderabad-Nagpur and Hyderabad-Ramagundam national highways and urged the Defence Minister of India to allocate land for the same. KTR said since the existing roads are not good enough for the purpose of travelling, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is planning to construct and expand highways.
KTR also asked the Defence Minister to take a decision about the allocation of defence land based on the proposal of the TRS Government.
