Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Information Technology and Urban Development Minister of Telangana, responded to the complaints of kids regarding civic issues and asked the concerned officials to respond to it quickly.
On the 14th of November, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao tweeted a placard shared by a kid, who complained of a lack of municipal water in his housing society. The placard which was held by a small boy was shared by a Twitter user by the name of Patel, tagging Mr. K.T. Rama Rao.
The placard in the shared tweet read, “Small Children’s Day wish to KTR uncle,” The problem is elaborated further on the placard as it read: “We are living in Golden City colony near pillar number 248. We are waiting for municipal water for the last 5 years. We are facing many problems. Please help us.”
KTR immediately responded to the shared tweet and directed the concerned authority to look into the matter and do the necessary.
According to sources, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao directed Mr. Dana Kishore, the Managing Director, of Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Works, and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB,) to visit the place and resolve the issue. KTR furthermore, asked his officials to keep track of the development and follow up on the matter, until resolved.
Mr. K.T. Rama Rao tweeted, “Request @HMWSSBOnline MD Dana Kishore Garu @MDHMWSSB to visit personally today and resolve the issue@KTRoffice please follow up.”
