Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Information Technology and Urban Development Minister of Telangana, took a dig at Mr. Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India.
On the 17th of October, Monday Mr. K.T. Rama Rao tweeted, “Modi Ji deserves Nobel prize but in which category? Nobel for Medicine – discovering Covid Vaccine… Nobel for Economics – Demonetisation & Swiss Black Money Returns… Nobel for Peace – Stopping the Russia-Ukraine war for 6 hours… Nobel for Physics – Radar Theory.”
The tweet was shared hours after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) shared a video highlighting the Wuhan Virus also known as Covid-19 vaccine manufactured in India, by PM Narendra Modi.
Notably, Mr. G. Kishan Reddy, the Union Tourism Minister shared a video, in which he said in “our country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi courageously invented the Covid vaccine.” The BJP leader also highlighted other achievements of Mr. Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister of India.
Reacting to the video, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao tweeted: “Let us demand Nobel prize in medicine or science to Modi ji. Apparently, Modi discovered the covid vaccine courageously. His cabinet colleagues are really bright, I must accept, especially Kishan Reddy.” He further retweeted a Twitter post shared by TRS worker which read, “Did you know that @narendramodi ji was a Scientist ? ?

In another tweet, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao continued his satirical criticism and said, “To all those BJP folks, who feel Vishwa Guru deserves more than Nobel, I would like to nominate Modiji of 2013 for his amazing histrionics and theatrical skills in criticizing the then Union Government on rupee devaluation. If not Oscar, at least a Bhaskar award should be awarded.”
