A group of Maoists allegedly killed Nalluri Srinivas Rao, a member of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS.)
The news of Nalluri’s death was confirmed by the Telangana Police, who found Nalluri’s body in a forest of Tettemadugu Puttapadu Chanda area in Sukuma district, Chhattisgarh.
The Maoists group took the responsibility for Nalluri Srinivas’ murder and left a note behind, which was written by Sharad, the secretary of the Maoist group.
In the letter, Sharad claimed, the murder was committed by the Maoist group as they believe Nalluri is an informer who came to collect information about the Maoists’ activities, to pass it on to the Police.
A group of Maoists, on the 8th of July, kidnapped Nalluri Srinivas Rao from his residence.
After the kidnapping of Nalluri, the Telangana Police constituted a special team for investigation and traced the leader of the Maoist group in Chhattisgarh.
The suspected Maoist group kidnapped and killed Srinivas to threaten the TRS, the Government of Telangana, so that they fulfill the demands of the Naxalites and stop the encounters against them.
