It has been a month since Eatala Rajender, the former Health Minister of Telangana and a former member of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) changed party. He joined the opposition, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and is likely to contest as the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for the upcoming Huzurabad by elections.

On this, KTR said, the State Government said he tried till the last moments to see that the former minister Etela Rajender remained in the TRS party. Reacting to the party taking action against Etela by a written complaint by a person, TRS working President said the government took the decision while taking many aspects into account. ‘If Etela Rajender has differences with CM KCR, how could he continue in the cabinet for more than five years,’ KTR pointed out. He said prior to coming to Etela, TRS was in a stronger position in Kamalapur.

Interacting with the media persons at the Telangana Bhavan, the minister said that the the CM will not order a probe against a minister unless there is a primary evidence. Ëatala Rajender is cheating himself by making allegations against the TRS party,” Rama Rao said.
