The Maldakal Police Station, on the 4th of November, registered a rape case of a nine year old girl.
The incident, which took place on the 2nd of November, came to light on the 4th of November, after the Police registered a case against Naresh, a 25 year old resident of Maldakal mandal, Telangana.
According to sources, Naresh allegedly took a nine year old girl to an agricultural field on the outskirts of the mandal and raped her.
He took the girl on her bike and dropped her home on the evening of the 2nd of November. The girl’s family found out about the incident after she complained of a severe stomach ache.
On the 3rd of November, the girl’s grandmother took her for a medical checkup and found out she was raped. They immediately rushed to the Police Station and filed a complaint against Naresh.
The Maldakal Police registered the case against Naresh under the relevant Sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC.) As of now, Naresh is absconding. However, an investigation is underway and the Police are trying to locate Naresh.
