The Railway Division Senior DCM Mr. Narendra Varma on the 17th of March, Thursday announced special trains between Secunderabad and Rameshwaram. These trains would be operational from March to July.
According to sources, the trains allotted for Secunderabad-Rameshwaram-Secunderabad would travel via the Guntur division under the South Central Railway Guntur Railway Division.
According to the allotment, the Secunderabad-Rameshwaram (07685) the special train would run on the 22nd of March, the 29th, the 5th of April, the 12th of April, the 19th of April, the 26th of April, the 3rd of May, the 10th of May, the 17th of May, the 24th of May, the 31st of May, the 7th of June, the 14th of June, the 21st of June, the 28th of June, the 5th of July, the 12th of July, the 19th of July, the 26th of July.
On the other hand, Rameshwaram – Secunderabad (07686) special train would leave Rameshwaram on March 24, 31, April 7, 14, 21, 28, May 5, 12, 29, 26, and June 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, July 7, 14, 21, 28 dates.
The South Central Railway officials have announced that a temporary additional AC chair car coach would be added to the Guntur-Visakhapatnam Simhadri Express train as part of measures to reduce the waiting list passenger congestion.
Meanwhile, the Guntur-Visakhapatnam (17239/17240) train will run from March 19 to April 2 with an additional AC coach.
