Mr. Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, the Telangana Legislative Assembly Speaker, is likely to issue a notice to Mr. Eatala Rajender, the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA,) of Huzurabad constituency.
As per sources, the notice to Mr. Eatala Rajender, is for his “Robot” remarks against Mr. Pocharam Srinivas Reddy. On the 6th of September, Tuesday, Mr. Eatala Rajender called Mr. Pocharam the robot of Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana. Mr. Eatala Rajender said, “Pocharam was acting like a robot by saying ‘yes’ to Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) in the Assembly.”
Offended by the derogatory remark, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Mr. Pocharam Srinivas Reddy may take an action against the BJP MLA.
Meanwhile, the derogatory remark matter became an issue between the TRS and BJP, as the BJP leaders alleged the TRS Government of plotting to stop the BJP leaders from attending the Telangana Monsoon session. The BJP MLA also criticised Mr. Pocharam Srinivas Reddy for not inviting the BJP MLAs to the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting.
Notably, the Telangana Monsoon Assembly Sessions started on the 6th of September and would continue till the 13th of September.
However, due to the demise of two former TRS ministers, the session has been adjourned till the 12th of September, therefore would be the shortest session with only three working days.
