The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government, on the 18h of December, Saturday, approved boat services to Papikondalu Hills, a famous tourist spot in Hyderabad, Telangana.
After an accident in 2019, the boat services from Pocharam to the popular tourist spot Papikondalu Hills were suspended. A total of 47 people died in the incident, while going to Papikondalu hills.
However, after two years, the K. Chandrashekar Rao Government gave a green signal and decided to resume services.
According to the media sources, the Government gave permission for 12 boats to run between Pocharam and Papi Hills. Of the approved, currently, only eight boats are available for services.
The ticket price for adults is Rs. 930 and for children the ticket price is Rs. 730.
