On the 12th of May, Friday, Panic prevailed in Hyderabad’s Langar Houz Dargah region, after a body in pieces was found.
According to sources, the body, chopped into pieces, was found stuffed in two bags. The matter came to light after locals discovered the body and immediately informed the police.
As per the initial investigation and examination of a nearby CCTV footage, the police confirmed the identity of the victim and also revealed identities of the accused. Getting into the details, the victim identified as Ashok, was a handicap who had cancer. Furthermore, the suspects identified as Raju and Swaroopa, were said to be siblings of Ashok, allegedly chopped the Ashok’s body into pieces after he died of cancer, and dumped it near Langar Houz Dargah. The accused took the step and dumped the body as they did not have money to perform the last rites.
The accused siblings are currently absconding and a police team is on duty to nab them. Meanwhile, a case has been registered and an investigation is underway.
