Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, skipped dinner at the Raj Bhavan, Hyderabad.
According to sources, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao skipped the dinner, organised by Ms. Tamilisai Soundararajan, the Governor of Telangana, in the honour of Ms. Draupadi Murmu, the President of India. Ms. Draupadi Murmu is in Hyderabad for a five day southern sojourn tour. She arrived at the Shamshabad Airport through a special chopper from Delhi on the 26th of December. After her arrival on Monday, Ms. Draupadi Murmu visited the Srisailam Temple in Andhra Pradesh. In Hyderabad, Ms. Draupadi Murmu visited the War Memorial at Parade Ground Hyderabad and paid floral tribute to martyred soldiers.
Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar, the President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Telangana, Mr. G. Kishan Reddy, the Union Home Minister for Telangana State, Ms. Tamilisai Soundararajan, the Governor of Telangana, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao and Telangana Cabinet ministers welcomed Ms. Draupadi Murmu at the airport.
While other leaders attended the dinner organised for Ms. Draupadi Murmu, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Minister Mr. K.T. Rama Rao and Telangana Chief Minister Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao skipped the dinner. After welcoming Ms. Draupadi Murmu, KCR went to his farmhouse in the outskirts of Hyderabad.
