Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, is scheduled to meet Mr. Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister and Mr. Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, the Union Jal Shakti Minister today, the 4th of September.
The meeting is scheduled to be held on the evening of the 4th of September, Saturday. On the evening of the 3rd of September, Friday, Mr. K. Chandrasekhar Rao met with the Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi.
During yesterday’s meeting, K. Chandrasekar Rao submitted a memorandum of 10 issues in Telangana.
According to sources, KCR would ask the Home Minister of India about the pending promises made under the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014. He would also discuss national politics and the COVID-19 pandemic crisis. In addition, during the meeting with the Jal Shakti Minister of India, KCR would bring up the Krishna-Godavari rivers issue with Andhra Pradesh.
Lastly, the Telangana Chief Minister would also seek funds for the ongoing projects in Telangana.
Initially, Mr. Chandrashekar Rao was scheduled to return back to Hyderabad on the 3rd of September, but due to the scheduled meeting today, he extended his Delhi trip to the 5th of September.
