Mr. K. Narayana, the National Secretary of the Communist Party of India (CPI) criticized the Mahila Darbar initiative of Ms. Tamilisai Soundararajan, the Governor of Telangana.
On the 9th of June, Thursday, Mr. K. Narayana said Ms. Tamilisai Soundararajan crossed all her limits, with this Mahila Darbar. The CPI leader asked about the need for such an initiative when the elected Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government is functioning and should be responsible for such initiative.
Mr. K. Narayana also criticized the Telangana Governor Ms. Tamilisai Soundararajan for making the Raj Bhavan a political center. Mr. K. Narayana asked Ms. Tamilisai Soundararajan to cancel the program immediately. He said, “While anybody can make a representation to the Governor, holding a ‘darbar’ was not proper for a person holding the Constitutional post.”
