Telangana DGP Orders Detailed Inquiry In Mancherial Fire Incident

Mr. Rajendranath Reddy, the Director General of Police (DGP) of Telangana, has ordered an inquiry into the Mancherial Fire incident. 

On the 17th of December, Saturday, the Telangana DGP addressed the media and assured to investigate the incident and not spare the culprit.  The statement of the DGP came after the initial investigation that on the night of the 16th of December, Friday, a few people were seen wandering with a stick, suspecting riots in the region.  

Notably, on the night of the 16th of December, a family of six burnt into ashes after a massive fire broke out in their house.  Shivaiah, the owner, his wife Padma, children Preeti and Hima Bindu, a relative Monica and a  Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) employee, Shantayya.  

The reason of the sudden fire is yet to be known and the Mancherial Police is also investigating a planned murder angle into the matter.    In addition, anti social angles and rioters in the region are also under the radar of the police, after this unfortunate incident.

The case is under investigation.
