Telangana Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy Directs Officials To Gear Up For Reopening Of Schools

The Telangana Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy on the 18th of January, directed all the educational institutions to prepare for re-opening of schools in Telangana.

The decision was taken after a recent review meeting held by K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana.

Ms. Reddy asked the institutions and schools to follow all the rules of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.

In regard to this, the State Education Minister conducted a meeting with the concerned officials.

During the meeting, Ms. Indra Reddy reviewed the opening of educational institutions, hostels and residential schools in Telangana.

Sabitha Indra Reddy directed the officials to ensure the physical distancing of six feet between students in the classroom. The officials were also told to take necessary measures to keep the educational institutions clean and hygienic.

Ministers like Satyavati Rathod, Koppula Eshwar, Gangula Kamalakar, CS Somesh Kumar attended the meeting.

The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government is all set to reopen schools for Class 9, Class 10, intermediate (11 and 12), degree and other professional courses from the 1st of February.
