A day after meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Telangana Governor Ms. Tamilisai Soundararajan met with the Union Minister of India Mr. Amit Shah.
The meeting between the Telangana Governor and Union Minister was scheduled for the 7th of April, in Delhi. After the meeting, Ms. Tamilisai Soundararajan addressed the media and said that she had discussed with the Home Minister the welfare of the people of Telangana. She, however, opined that she could not reveal what she had discussed with Amit Shah, but assured the welfare of the people of Telangana.
Furthermore, the Telangana Governor said that she was always thinking for the welfare of the people of Telangana and made clear that everyone knows what is happening in Telangana. Taking a sarcastic dig at the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government, Ms. Soundararajan said that she will move forward positively whether she gets help from anyone or not.
It is to be noted, Ms. Tamilisai Soundararajan met with the Prime Minister of India on the 6th of April, in Delhi.
