Ms. K. Kavitha, the Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) said, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana would play a crucial role in national politics.
On the 27th of September, Tuesday, Ms. K. Kavitha said that her father would play a key role in shaping the political course of the country. Addressing the media, during the Batthukamma festival in Telangana, She said it was because of Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is celebrating Bathukamma, the State festival of Telangana, in New Delhi. Raising the question, why the BJP did not celebrate the Telugu festival earlier, Ms. K. Kavitha said, “Why it took eight years for it (Central Government) to organise the celebrations in New Delhi.
Ms. K. Kavitha said, “Due to KCR’s entry into the national politics, more and more political parties are getting to know about the culture and practices of Telangana, and things will shape up and change for good as the Telangana Chief Minister would enter into the national arena, where he most certainly is going to play a key role in shaping the political course of the country.” Ms. K. Kavitha said, “What took the ruling government 8 years to celebrate the spirit of Telangana.”
Meanwhile, the war of words between the TRS and the BJP are continuing amid the upcoming Munugode Assembly elections and the 2024 General elections. Besides the by election and 2024 General elections, the TRS is also preparing for the 2023 Telangana Assembly elections in the Telugu State.
