The K. Chandrashekar Rao led the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and issued an order announcing money release for repair works.

On the 25th of December, the Telangana Government said that they would release an amount of Rs. 2,500 crores for the repair of roads and construction of culverts damaged due to rains.  Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, directed the Roads & Buildings Department to finalise the tenders for the repair of roads and construction of culverts at the earliest. 

According to sources, out of the released amount, Rs. 1,865 crores has been allocated for road repairs and the remaining Rs. 635 crores for the construction of culverts.

The decision to allocate the amount was taken  by Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao during a meeting and asked the State Finance Ministry to release the amount.  Mr. T. Harish Rao, the Finance Minister of Telangana would supervise the work and would release the amount accordingly.  

Furthermore, Mr. Vemula Prashanth Reddy, the Roads and Buildings Minister asked officials of the department to take up works on the restoration of roads that suffered damages due to heavy rains in different parts of the State.
