Mr. Malla Reddy, the Labour Minister of Telangana, attended an event in Telangana, during which his convoy was attacked by protestors.
On the 29th of May, Sunday, a group of people attacked the convoy of Mr. M. Malla Reddy with footwear, chairs, and stone while he was addressing a political rally in Ghatkesar. The event was organized by a political community Reddy Jagruthi.
Amid the attack, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leader abruptly left the event and was escorted by the police.
Notably, the ruckus broke out when Mr. Malla Reddy started praising Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, and his TRS Government. After the praises, a group of people objected to the praises and started throwing stones, chairs, and slippers at the Minister.
However, Mr. Malla Reddy received no injuries and left the spot immediately. Later, he blamed Mr. A. Revanth Reddy, the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President, and leaders for the incident.
Meanwhile, as of now, no first information report has been registered with the police, therefore, the police did not take any action on the matter.
