On the night of the 7th of October, the Telangana Health Department released a media bulletin updating about the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
According to the released media bulletin, the State recorded 1,896 new COVID-19 infections and 12 fatalities in the past 24 hours.
Of the total new cases, 38 were from Adilabad, 82 from Bhadradri, 294 from areas under the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC,) 25 from Jagtial, 24 from Jangaon, 15 from Bhupalpally, 28 from Gadwal and 39 from Kamareddy.
The remaining cases, 97 from Karimnagar, 79 from Khammam, 5 from Komarambheem Asifabad, 36 from Mahabubnagar, 55 from Mahabubabad, 29 from Mancherial, 25 from Medak, 154 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 29 from Mulugu, 21 from Nagarkurnool, 126 from Nalgonda, 11 from Narayanpet, 18 from Nirmal, 49 from Nizamabad, 33 from Peddapalli, 31 from Siricilla, 211 from Rangareddy, 42 from Sangareddy, 100 each from Siddipet, 57 from Suryapet, 22 from Vikarabad, 21 from Wanaparthy, 24 from Warangal Rural, 48 from Warangal Urban and 28 from Yadadri Bhongir.
Meanwhile, a total of 2,067 people recovered from the Novel Coronavirus in Telangana.
In addition, the Telangana Health Department conducted a total of 50,367 tests for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, taking the total to 33,96,839.
Till the 8th of October, Telangana has 2,06,644 positive cases, of which 26,368 are active cases, 1,79,075 are recovered/discharged cases and 1,201 deaths.
Telangana has a recovery rate of 86.65 % for the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
