Telangana on the 1st of December, reported 502 fresh cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 cases during the past 24 hours.
With this the total COVID-19 cases reported in the state has gone up to 2 lakh 70 thousand 318 (2,70,318). The state conducted over 46 thousand tests yesterday. The recovery rate slightly improved to 95.89 per cent with 894 more people recovering yesterday. This took the number of recovered people so far in the state to 2 lakh 59 thousand 230 (2,59,230).
Meanwhile, the daily bulletin issued by the state Medical and Health department this morning stated that total 1461 deaths reported so far following 3 more persons succumbing to COVID and comorbidities during the past 24 hours.
Currently, the state has over 9 thousand active cases out of which over 7 thousand are in home isolation. Meanwhile, 101 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Hyderabad during the past 24 hours while Medchal Malkajgiri, Rangareddy, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Karimnagar, Khammam and Nalgonda districts are among those which reported a considerably high number of COVID-19 cases during the same period.
