Ms. K. Kavitha, the Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) of Nizamabad, openly challenged the Indian National Congress (INC) over the development of the State under the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Government.
Addressing a meeting on the 8th of June, Ms. K. Kavitha dared the Congress party to visit any household in Telangana and enquire about the schemes of the BRS Government. She slammed the opposition Indian National Congress and challenged them to prove the failure of the K. Chandrashekar Rao led the BRS Government. She said, “There is no household in whole Telangana which is not receiving any benefit of schemes introduced by CM KCR.”
Ms. K. Kavitha further praised the schemes of the BRS Government and said, “Amrit Sarovar” is a poor copy of “Mission Kakatiya” launched by the Telangana Government. Similarly, Har Ghar Jal is also a copy of Telangana Government’s Mission Bhagirathi.
Addressing an event in Bodhan constituency in Nizamabad, the BRS leader said, “Do a fact check in any village of Telangana.”
MLC K. Kavitha criticized the Indian National Congress and said that during Congress era, pension was Rs. 200, benefiting only 20 people of a village. However, today, the pension is for Rs. 2,000 and is extended to all those who are eligible.
Praising the Telangana Chief Minister, Ms. K. Kavitha said under the leadership of Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the minorities and the under privileged people found a dignified life with good living.
The statement of Ms. K. Kavitha came after the Indian National Congress slammed the ruling BRS and claimed that under KCR’s rule, people in Telangana are suffering.
